Retina Charmer Photography became operational in July, 2011 and is owned by Navin Kumar & Kumar Harshvardhan, two brothers of Indian origin who were born and brought up in Delhi. They started travelling alone as soon as they finished their academics and since then both of them have been frequently travelling here and there and making photographs which have so far made their way to the hearts of the people and as of today it has become their obsession to experience the world and a passion to capture the visual masterpieces of the gifts which the nature has blessed us with.

Retina Charmer Photography also follows the path of changing the stereotypical image of the Indian Wedding Photographers because its owners are in the league of very few Candid Wedding Photographers who has challenged the conventional notions of the Indian Wedding Photography. Thus when they are not travelling; they dedicate themselves and their time in doing Contemporary / Candid Wedding Photography and shoots the nuptial knots of the weddings in their own distinctive Candid styles. Since 2011, they have been producing images of the weddings and have been satisfying their clients at its best.

About Harshvardhan

Founder of Retina Charmer Photography, Harshvardhan is a self made photographer based out of New Delhi. His distinctive style of shooting represents simplicity. He majorly shoots in natural light and does travel portraits & landscapes and has expertise in environmental portraits because of his keen attention towards every single detail which he carries from beginning to the end. Other than photography he loves to travel and has personal interests in nature and its creations.

About Navin Kumar

While specializing in landscape and travel photography, Navin Kumar, also does freelance photojournalism. He has worked as a photography instructor for Raghu Rai Center For Photography and is currently focusing much of his time and energy on the blooming industry of Wedding Photography and also putting Humanitarian efforts around the Indian subcontinent.

Inspired by the works Joel Sartore, Steve McCurry and Ansel Adams, Navin Kumar is a freelance professional photographer and a photo educator. He specializes in travel, landscape, humanitarian and Candid Wedding Photography. Based out of New Delhi he considers this world as his studio, where he loves to capture the emotions of not just the inhabitants of the dying planet but its fragility too.

Throughout his work one can easily see that how he combines his love of the nature with his sense of capturing the simplicity of this world. Whether he was exploring the The Himalayas or sailing through the Islands of Andamans, his thirst for adventure and the outdoors started at an early age and through these experiences he has learned the importance of compassion within this dynamic and complicated world we all live in.

His photographs have always made their way to the hearts of his clients, photo lovers and photo enthusiasts worldwide and have been displayed at many platforms. At the age of 19, he did his first exhibition with professional Russian photographers at the RUSSIAN CENTER OF SCIENCE & CULTURE and was recognized as the youngest photographer among professionals, and since then he has done 4 photo Exhibitions and hasn’t looked back.

Apart from the Candid Wedding Photography, he is also working on long-term projects, “ON EARTH” and “THE SACRED PLANET” in Southern Asia and has been photographing the changes; the region has undergone due to the changes in climatic conditions of the Planet and has also been capturing the beauty of this area to create awareness among the masses towards their very own Planet. For him Photography is about engagement with the world with people and places he wouldn’t have known otherwise.
