WaterAid has been working in India since 1986 and is recognised as a key player in the WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) sector at both national as well as state level.

WaterAid has a clear focus – water, sanitation and hygiene – and seeks to improve access to safe water, and sanitation and promote improved hygiene for all. We believe these basics as fundamental to human and sustainable development and to the eradication of poverty.
