About Construction Skill Development Council of India in , New Delhi

Construction Skill Development Council of India is the apex body which is responsible for development of National Occupation Standards in line with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) since 2014 Ninety Nine Qualification packs have been developed covering occupations like Masonry, Bar Bending, Shuttering Carpentry, Electrician, Painter & Decorator.

The second role is to build the capacity of the existing trainers and assessor by conducting training of trainers’/ assessors programmes. Until a pool of certified trainers and assessors is created for conducting the training and assessments the objective of NOS aligned training and assessments would not be complete.

The third role is to conduct fair and quality Assessments and Certification of new entrants and experienced workers of the construction sector.
