About Sarvahitey in D-7/7487 Vasant Kunj, New Delhi

Sarvahitey is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) working for charitable purposes and for promotion of literature and culture. The members of this organization have been working for benefit of the society for many years, with the cooperation of young and seniors of the society alike. The very first initiative which was taken was of educating children in Mewat, a district in Haryana. The members also helped to establish a school there, which provided a solid base for education in that impoverished and ignored area. Another important initiative has been 'Clothes Donation Drives', where old and new warm clothes are collected from relatively fortunate members of the society and distributed to the people with limited resources. Many initiatives have been taken in the field of Education, Women Empowerment, Health, Legal Awareness, Promotion of Hindi and other Indigenous languages.
