SLD is a Delhi based labour rights organization that believes in equitable development through social and economic well-being of labour, migrant rights, and cultural renewal among disenfranchised people.

The mission of the SLD is to help build a democratic and just society free from economic exploitation and social discrimination, with a focus on the rights of workers and marginalized people. Since its inception, the SLD has supported grassroots organizing, research, training and leadership development through the use of popular education, and government and corporate accountability campaigns on labour rights and civil rights.
