Sushruta Ano Rectal Institute (S.A.R.I.) is headed by Dr S K Singh M.S .(Ayurveda). S.A.R.I. is renowned for treating ano rectal diseases including Piles, Fistula, Fissure and also Pilonidal Sinus.

Anal Fistula presents as a small swelling any where around the anus. Some times pus or watery discharge can be seen oozing out along with mild pain. Some time symptoms subside for a duration but have tendency to recur. For anal fistula modern medicine advises surgery, glue technique/ laser treatment/ VAFT/ MAFT etc. None of these treatments have been found satisfactory because of high incidences of recurrence. However in Ayurveda this disease can be successfully treated with out any adverse effect.

Fissure is characterized by acute pain while passing stool. In most of the cases usually surgery is recommended by modern medicine. Pilonidal Sinus usually seen as a small swelling in lower spinal region. It may be associated with some pain and discharges. People with hairy skin have a tendency to have this disease in young age. Usually surgery is advised to treat the patient of pilonidal sinus. However Surgery including Z-plasty is not suitable as it has high incidence of recurrence of disease.

In Ayurveda, with the help of Kshar Sutra Pilonidal Sinus can be easily cured without surgery. No adverse effects are seen in this therapy. No hospitalization or bed rest is required during the treatment period.
