Founded in 1881 by a Britisher, A. Tellery, who is largely considered the pioneer of the Indian carpet export business, the business of making fine, luxury carpets was passed on to Patodia, who introduced the Hands brand. With over a century of carpet and rug making expertise that provides livelihood to an entire town of craftsmen, in and around Bhadohi near the Ganges riverside town of Varanasi, UP, India, Hands carpets today, are seen in some of the finest palaces, luxury hotels and residences across the globe.

Hands bespoke carpets adorn large & niche projects around the world. All these carpets are developed by our craftsmen in Bhadohi in Uttar Pradesh as per specific requirements of our customers, architects & interior designers to meet their designs, size, colour variations etc. We started the first store in Delhi and later in Mumbai and Bangalore so that our carpets are available to all discerning customers in India and abroad who look for high quality products.

Comprising of unique designs and colour combinations, all made by hand, and incorporating exquisite wool from New Zealand, combinations of viscose, Swarovski and other refreshing materials, hands carpet sophistication, warmth and style. Hands also offers over 3000 designs that include contemporary, organics, art deco and Persian influences. Handmade Hands carpets include Hand-tufted, Hand-knotted (Persian & Nepali), Shaggy & Kilimns.
