We started Envirotrends® Service in year 2003. Under this service, INDUS initially provides the subscribers with an Up-to-Date Practitioner’s Handbook on EHS & Social Regulations that would generally be applicable to any operating facility in India followed by Regular Updates (Real-Time) of new/upcoming legislations and other Corporate trends through e-mails. Industries consider INDUS’ Practitioners Handbook on "EHS and Social Regulations and Legislative Framework in India” as a bible for compliance assurance. The main reason we developed the Envirotrends® service was to ensure that clients needed to first know the law before they could implement it. We thought that it was some kind of injustice to assess them when they were not even aware of what was expected of them either by law or by any other applicable standard. Envirotrends® has helped us a lot in creating a special concern amongst our clientele for ensuring compliance. Many of our multinational clients have commented that there is perhaps no other service of this kind anywhere in the world. Envirotrends® service is in use by about 5000 facilities based all over India.
