About Lokrang Foundation in Hauz Khas, New Delhi

Lokrang Foundation is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) working the field of Art & Culture, Eco tourism, Environment and natural resource management, etc. The NGO works towards the promotion of sustainable development. The NGO was established in 2012. The registration number of the organization is: 0674 (21-04-2012). The organization is operational in Delhi, India.


Uttarakhand is a profound ocean of a pure culture comprising the precious pearls of creativity and talent comprising variant forms in music and art, adorned with the colors of culture and emerged from the essence of originality.

Lokrang's vision is to explore our culture upon the world wide ground and to present it upon higher podiums as to unveil its gems and to let their luminous spread all around. We are carrying an approach to acquire a recognition and acknowledgement for our Uttarakhandi culture through bringing out the pearls from our cultural ocean.

On the practical terms, we will be spreading and sharing the knowledge of our culture through variant mediums as in by organizing workshops, publishing magazines, presenting documentaries and through many other ways to build a very direct and explicit channel of communication in between our people and culture as they will direct the light towards the aspects of our Music, Art & Culture.

We’ll portray our cultural lifestyle, will explore our language and will present the assets of our culture so as to discover and unveil the ignored and forgotten cultural treasuries and preserve them further. Altogether, we will put our hard efforts to vanish the spaces in between the Uttrakhand culture and its people.

In our path, our mission is to raise our "Uttarakhand" till the most possible height and attain an identity for its mounts through exploring our cultural roots and artistic talent upon the international ground besides, working for the development of our state by participating in enhancement of employment in our process and catalyzing the tourism of Uttarakhand.
