We, Elettromeccanica India Private Ltd. (EIPL), are pleased to introduce ourselves as a Majority Owned Subsidiary (51% Share Holding) of Elettromeccanica Colombo s.a.s / Italy, with modern manufacturing & advanced testing facilities established at Bari Brahmana, Industrial Estate of Jammu (J&K).

Elettromeccanica Colombo s.a.s is a Milan / Italy based leading manufacturer of Transformers, established in the year 1901, with an Experience of more than 100 years. Manufacturing of Cast Resin Transformers was started in late 1980s and the production range includes - windings in Copper & Aluminum, with Natural or Forced cooling, with Maximum Capacity up to 10 MVA at 36 KV. These Transformers are manufactured in compliance with leading International Specifications & Standards, such as – IEC-76 / IEC-726 / VDE-0532 / BS-7806 / ANSI-C57-12 / IS-2026/ IS-11171, under ISO-9001:2008 Quality Assurance System and have been Type Tested (including Short Circuit Test) at CESI / Italy.

Elettromeccanica Colombo s.a.s / Italy have an experience of supplying these Cast Resin Transformers for an installed capacity of 50,000 MVA all over the World in more than 50 different countries. Elettromeccanica Colombo s.a.s / Italy has an impressive presence in India by way of their Supply record of around 400 Nos. of 33 / 0.415 KV,0.433KV Cast Resin Transformers of 200 – 3000 KVA Capacity to prestigious Delhi Metro Project through ABB, L&T, SIEMENS and IRCON International, which have been performing successfully for more than last 12-13 years.

Elettromeccanica India Private Ltd. (EIPL) has established its Plant & Machinery imported from Italy, the same type /kind as Parent Company in Italy Plant. However, in the 1st phase of our production, the Casted Coils are being sourced from Parent company in Italy, whereas the Transformer Core and the Transformer are assembled locally as per the design / specification of the parent company/cleint. Our different ratings of CRTs (400-2500 KVA,33/0.415 KV) have been successfully type tested for DMRC , Jaipur Metro and Chennai Metro.Conforming to current engineering & quality management practices, EIPL has been awarded ISO-9001:2008 certification.

Since the start of our production ,EIPL has successfully supplied around 120-130 nos. of CRTs to different customers like Delhi Metro (through Voltas, AAPT India,IRCON,L&T) , Jaipur Metro (through L&T & ABB), Chennai Metro (through Siemens),Hyderabad Metro (L&T) Ordnance Factories,NHPCs,SJVNL,UJVNL etc.We are currently executing order recieved from Siemens Ltd (for Chennai Metro & Delhi Metro ), L&T(for Delhi Metro & Hyderabad Metro), NTPC,NHPC etc taking our current order under execution for 400 + nos.
