Esya’16 brings forward the revolutionary and popular idea of Internet of Things. The events and contests in Esya will be centered around this theme. Despite being one of the most talked-about subjects, only a small portion of the population knows what Internet of Things really is. Simply put, this concept deals with the connection of any regular device with an on/off switch to the internet.
The Internet of Things (IoT) allows for virtually endless opportunities and connections to take place. In a country like India - with a population in billions, IoT can open doors to a plethora of opportunities for individuals and communities to access the internet and connect with each other.
Esya is an essential platform to gain information about the concept of the Internet of Things. The technical festival will help educate and foster learning in students and the vast majority of this country. It will also serve as a rostrum for students to kickstart their preparations for some of the most prestigious competitions.
