About Sahyog Welfare Society in 111-A, Kamla nagar, New Delhi

Sahyog Welfare Society is a Kamla Nagar, New Delhi based NGO bearing registration number S/358/2013 working in the areas of mainly Health, Justice and Awareness for the Society as well the NGO members like a hand to help which is always available.

We have been actively organizing Health Camps, Blood Donation Camps; Facilitation programs for officers and higher authorities of Delhi Police; Assistance camps for online form submissions, active participation in societal issues and a lot more including timely meetings for all the members to have light moments and feel like a family.

Ladies Wing of Sahyog Welfare Society constitutes of President, Senior Vice President from Psychology background and majority of the volunteers from Psychology background too. We aim to educate and spread awareness among the student population in the areas leading to a better mental health by conducting workshops on Good Touch Bad Touch for primary standards, Hormonal Changes in Teenage for secondary standards and Stress Management for senior secondary standards. Why student population? Because schooling years are primarily the personality shaping years and in these years, the children undergo several changes. They learn to create and maintain interpersonal relations; they have various bright dreams for their careers and future ahead; their developing concepts of self regard and self image and the list is never ending. Therefore, we wish to target such population whose future would decide the future of the society and hence the nation.
Ladies wing has also been assisting its dedicated volunteers for self awareness, career prospects, academics and issues in personal life. Consistent efforts are being done to enhance the work quality and acknowledge the volunteers for their unconditional efforts and dedication.

One of the major landmarks for the Ladies Wing has been the facilitation of the President Ms. Priyanka Bhatia and Senior Vice President Ms. Sumedha Gera by the Delhi Police officials in February 2016 for their immense contributions in spreading awareness in the area of child sexual abuse.

We are proud to mention that we have managed to spread this awareness to over 4,000 students of Delhi and we wish to make this number huge and count with quality.
