About Light Up in , New Delhi

Light Up is one of the first few social ventures that is focusing on equipping children, parents and teachers with emotional intelligence and the tools necessary to form a cohesive, collaborative, non-violent, and caring community which leads to hope for a meaningful and positive future.

The Objective

•The Light Up – Social - Emotional Learning (SEL) Workshops teaches children how to recognize emotions in oneself and in other people, understand the causes and consequences of a wide range of emotions, label emotions using a sophisticated vocabulary, express emotions in socially appropriate ways, and regulate emotions effectively.

•It will help students to learn these skills by integrating formal lessons and opportunities to practice using them into regular classroom instruction and family environment.
