The International Relations and Executive Education Committee is the face of IMI, New Delhi to the International community.

The committee makes constant efforts to facilitate the exchange programmes in the college. It promotes the International Student Exchange Program among students .

College has active student exchange programs with various universities like ESC Rennes International School of Business, France; Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany; Grenoble Ecole de Management, France; Zeppelin University, Germany; Louvain School of Management, Belgium ; Suleman Dawood School of Business, Lahore, Pakistan; The Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; International Centre for Promotion of Enterprises, Ljubljana, Solvenia; Sichuan Academy of Social Sciences, Sichuan, China, Kedge Business School; IDRAC, Fance. The committee makes sure that students are well aware of all these collaborations and other relevant information regarding the same.

The committee liaises with the student exchange committees of all the partner institutes to keep track of various developments. The objective is to keep all the students of IMI informed about the various courses being offered in the partner Institutes. IRC also takes the responsibility of providing the outbound students with all the required information regarding their accommodation and scholarships abroad. The committee works towards building new collaborations and fostering new tie-ups with universities and institutes around the world. Also the committee makes sure that the students coming to IMI from various foreign universities have an enriching learning experience and a memorable stay here. It arranges orientation for them explaining the expectations of the institute and introduces them to the faculty. Each inbound student is assigned a student of IMI-‘I Buddy’ who acts as counselor to making them familiar with the institute and nearby places .The committee involves the inbound students in student activities activities and community life making them feel a part of the college. Recently the committee has widened its purview by taking initiative of being responsible for hospitality of the executives coming to the college under Indian Technical and Economic cooperation (ITEC) programme, an initiative of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India
