About Tuscor International in Kalka Ji, New Delhi

Tuscor International is an importer of products ranging from electronics to construction material.
At Tuscor our prime focus is to passing on maximum benefit to the customers by changing sales practices of imported goods in India. So far whole import practice in India is very complex which is why it always benefits to particular set of people like importers, traders and wholesalers. With this complicated practice it becomes very difficult for a customer to get maximum benefit on imported goods.
When goods are imported to a country they go through lot of sales processes that enforces price increase at least by 50% than its landed cost before reaching out to a customer. Keeping costs low and passing benefits to customers is always like flipping a coin and keep thinking of getting desired results. With scenario of trade probability of passing benefits to customer becomes almost negligible. A challenge that is almost impossible to beat by any importer, hence their prime focus always revolves around to gain huge profit along with invested capital. To do so they have no other choice but to include traders and wholesalers in sales process. When these two knots who are actually stockist added to a sales process, price of goods is bound to increase due to increase of margin at each level. Ultimately the product reaches out to a customer at a very high cost whereas it can actually be much cheaper. Basics of earning profits are sales minus purchase or sales minus cost, but when stockists are there in the sales process it changes whole equation.
When we started Tuscor international in the year 2011 we had two major challenges, ‘how to benefit customers from an international trade and how to do things different’. In search of finding answers to our challenges we did same as other importers were doing for initial survival (To do different it is always beneficial to experience how what others do). Gradually we broke middle knots in the sales process. We approached retail shops directly for our products and offered them our price. Initially the shop keepers did not believed us as the prices we offered were way cheaper than their current buying. Its only after goods were delivered to them they believed that the prices offered were not some kind of jokes. We started with only five shops initially and gradually now have been able to reach out 900 shops in a span of two years. To avoid excessive pricing by shopkeepers we added 20% margin to our landing cost and print it as MRP on all our products, which not only increased our sales volume by 400% but also benefited shopkeepers. This way we have been at least able to reduce prices of the products by 30% or if I may say passing on 30% more benefit directly to the customers.
Demand and supply are two very important factors in a business; both can be controlled with right aptitude. Demand increases more where there are benefits and that is what we did, we provided benefits to right people the people who are the least bothered about in whole process of sale. We strengthen them in return we increased our volume. We may have earned few bucks less but we know the advantage we have.

Business is always about to grow and earn, the focus must be always on volume and quality. If you have intentions of growing together, you certainly grow far better than others.
