At One Duniya Productions, we focus on working with people who are looking to make a change through their work. Whether it be documentary or fiction, we are committed to providing the most creative platform for people to make a difference in a positive way. Formed in New Delhi, India in 2013, we are a collective of digital filmmakers who use film to tell stories that matter.

Our team is anchored by Zorawar Shukla and Rahul Gairola but features talented freelance film professionals on a need to need basis. Our work includes everything from music videos to short films to documentaries and even feature films.

ZORAWAR
Based in New Delhi, India, Zorawar is the founder of One Duniya Productions.

His interest in film was born while he was working as an Assistant Director on the set of Deepa Mehta's 'Midnight's Children' in 2011. Subsequently he has completed two documentaries for the Public Service Broadcasting Trust and has also made numerous music videos over the last year.

Zorawar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies from Emerson College, Boston, USA, He has a keen interest in anthropological and historical subjects and has previously worked at the Smithsonsian Centre for Folklife and Cultural Heritage in Washington DC.

In addition, Zorawar is also a stage entertainer with New Delhi reggae music group, Reggae Rajahs. He frequently performs at music venues and festivals throughout India and abroad.

RAHUL
Living in Germany the first 14 years of his life, Rahul has always had a passion for films. Since moving to India, he has been exploring different aspects of the film industry through a variety of experiences, including as an extra on the sets of a few Bollywood films as well as working as a Casting Assistant on Mira Nair’s “The Reluctant Fundamentalist”.

Rahul studied Video Editing right after high school and then joined a Film Making course in New Delhi. Since then he has worked on a variety of different projects, including an episode of, international superstar DJ, Steve Aoki’s show “On the Road with Steve Aoki” and a music video for Dutch reggae star Ziggi Recado. In 2013 he worked as director of photography, editor and screenplay writer on his first feature film “Naari Chakra”.
