About Santhigiri Global Centre for Culture & Healing in , New Delhi

Santhigiri Ashram was founded by Navajyothisree Karunakara Guru about 49 years ago with a three-pronged mission: ensure food security for the masses, take care of their health needs and raise spiritual awareness.

Over the years our activities have led us to have focused programmes on such varied areas as malnutrition, preventive health care, water harvesting, education, building vocational skills or employment and the empowerment of women. At another level we have brought our organizational strength to bear on such burning issues as environmental sustainability and the conservation of natural resources since these are vital for the continued production of our quality ayurvedic herbal preparations.

As we expand our activities across India we have felt the need for major centre in the national capital which will coordinate all the research activities. At our government allotted plot in Sector-6, Pushpvihar, construction for a five storey spiritual and research centre is already underway. We request your liberal support for this noble venture which will help us to carry forward the mission of Santhigiri Ashram, in its propaganda for nourishing India's social and cultural tradition.

Santhigiri is a prominent Non-profit making organization which has contributed in the field of healthcare based on Indian systems of medicines, Ayurveda & Siddha and has been appreciated by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, by granting us the recognition of Scientific & Industrial Research Organization and on this basis the donations for the research activities conducted by us are given exemptions under section35(1)(2) and 35(1)(3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
