About Dhamma Vipula, Vipassana Center, Vipassana Meditation in Sayagyi U Ba Khin Memorial Trust, Plot No. 91 A, Sector 26, Parsik Hill, C.B.D. Belapur,, Navi Mumbai (New Mumbai)

Dhamma Vipula, is one of the upcomming meditation centres . It is dedicated to the teaching of Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin.

It gives a great pleasure to inform you that Dhamma Vipula – a new Vipassana Centre is being established at Parsik Hills at Belapur,Navi Mumbai,on a 3 acre plot. We intend to set up a center, with 120 rooms.The center will have Dhamma Halls, Meditation cells, Guruji Niwas, Dining Hall, Kitchen, Administration Building, Landscaping And Stores. It is projected to be a ground + 2 floors structure. The cost of building the center, as planned in the current phase is Rs. Three Crores.One room is estimated at Rs. 2.75 Laks.

One can support in various ways,We cherish every single rupee of Dana, which is given with best of volition,for building this meditation center.It will help construct this beautiful center at the earliest. The construction cost of the center in rupee tems is broken up into various denominations like Rs. 100/-, Rs. 500/-, Rs. 1000/-, Rs. 5000/-, Rs. 10,000/-. The above sums will enable us to complete the construction work, with all it's provisions. This includes, Light, Fan, Linen, Bed, Storage shelves, Windows, Doors, Bathroom fittings Etc.

Dhamma Vipula commenced the work in 2005 with the purchase of land from CIDCO. All government permissions from town planning, fire fighting,forest,land revenue etc has been received. Water and Power connections have been received. Stone masonry compound wall of the plot has been built (approx. 1800 feet length x 7 feet height). The construction up to the plinth level of an area of approx. 23,700 sq. feet has been completed. The first slab for 2 buildings of approx. area of 5500 sq. feet gas been completed.
