City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (CIDCO) was incorporated with the mission to develop a twin city to Mumbai. CIDCO’s upcoming projects like the Navi Mumbai International Airport, the Mumbai Trans-Harbor Link, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust are going to generate huge number of employment and livelihood opportunities

While the projects required to rehabilitate project affected people from 103 villages, they also need locally available trained workforce for the smooth running of the projects

As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), CIDCO intends to focus on income generation interventions pertaining to wage-employment and self-employment for the Project Affected People (PAPs) across all categories

The rehabilitation of Project Affected Persons (PAPs) has always been one of the key priorities of CIDCO. While different schemes have been initiated by CIDCO for PAPs including their education and training for employment, these need to be scaled up for greater visibility and deeper impact

In order to do so CIDCO has engaged IL&FS Skills through a transparent and competitive bidding process as the Anchor Agency (AA) or the project.

The AA shall act as key/principal project management agency for the conceptualization and implementation of the Project and act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for CIDCO management.
