Who Are We?

We are Aditi & Deepak, a couple bitten by wanderlust! Travel makes us feel alive! We look for opportunities to travel every now and then, be it long weekends or monthly trips, we are always ready to pack our bags and leave. It’s the best feeling in the world to travel with your best friend! I am sure most of you will agree to it. 🙂

Our Travel Style:

For us, travelling is not just being touristy and ticking off places in a list, we like to experience the place more like travelers, try out local cuisines (both of us are vegetarians), live with the local people and soak in their warm hospitality, set foot on beautiful lands, witness diverse landscapes, try out various adventure activities and so on. Our travels are mostly budget comfortable trips, with money being spent on experiences rather than staying in luxurious 5-star hotels. We have those kind of luxurious holidays too, reserved for special occasions! Sometimes we are hard core backpackers, sometimes budget travelers, and sometimes luxurious tourists. We are fortunate enough to have experienced all kinds of travel. 🙂

I am a CA (Chartered Accountant) by qualification and a travelholic by passion!

The corporate life not being my cup of tea made me change 4 jobs in 6 years! Now, that I have saved some money from my corporate jobs, I quit my job last year and do what I love doing the most – Travel! 😀

I was born and brought up in Kolkata, India. The travel bug bit me in 2009 when I shifted base to Bangalore to work and stay on my own for a while. Leading an independent life shaped me into the individual that I am today.

I went for short trips with my friends from Bangalore and gradually started loving it. Visiting new places, experiencing different cultures, talking to other travelers, trying out new adventures, gaping at visual delights and wonders that the world has to offer became a balm for my wandering soul!

I got married in 2012 and currently stay in Mumbai with my husband Deepak who is a travel junkie too, so despite him being in a full time corporate job, we manage to go on frequent trips together.

Deepak

My husband is a CA, CS and MBA by qualification and an inspirer by nature. He is a fan of good wine and great coffee! He loves adventure activities just like me. He stayed in IIM Kozhikode for 2 years while pursuing his MBA, and he says they were the best 2 years of his life till he got married to me of course. 😛

He loves his job and has no plans of quitting it like me. I am thankful one of us has a stable job. After all, you need money to travel!
