About Prahar Samaj Jagruti Sanstha in Near C P Club, Ravi Nagar, Nagpur

The year 1991 witnessed the release of the Hindi film "Prahar"
directed by Shri Nana Patekar. The message given by the film is
that, the society must have a soldiers mind set with
philanthropic attitude which will automatically make the
nation strong. Late Col Sunil W Deshpande VSM was the
military advisor to the film "Prahar". Where the movie Prahar
ended, Prahar - samaj Jagruti Sanstha took shape. This Sanstha
was founded by Late Col Sunil W Deshpande as on 9th January
1994 with the aim of spreading soldierly qualities in the society
namely- Discipline, Courage, Vigilance, Values of Life and
Patriotismm
Prahar is a non-political and a charitable trust registered with
Charity Commissioner, Nagpur, India.
