His qualifications include MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital Mumbai. He then completed his super-specialty training as DNB (GI Surgery) from Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai. He has had further training in Colorectal surgery in the UK, where he was working for 5 years.
