Our Performing of Arts institute “DAN SINGH RAJPUT’S SCHOOL OF ACTING” offers Film / TV / Stage Acting courses in Mumbai. This is an intermediate to advanced level workshop in Acting, Dance, Movement or Music, and explores the relationship between breath, body, space, and the performer’s presence. By observing and connecting with the rhythms and patterns of our own breath, we will work on grounding, centering, attention and responsiveness. We will learn how to unlock the flow of impulse from within our bodies, and thus work towards a deep and expressive physical and vocal language. We will work on the essence of text through rhythm, intonation and vocal action and on the confrontation of physical and vocal scores. We will focus especially on embodying the rasaas through breath, gaze and gesture. We will thus work simultaneously on connecting with ourselves, connecting with others and connecting with the space. From this natural connection the performer’s presence emerges.
