About Matunga Premier School- School page in l. N. Road, Mumbai

Matunga Premier school has a long history of dedicated service in the noble field of education. Established in june 1937 in a modest way as a Gujarati Medium school. Primarily to meet the educational need of Gujarati Community in Matunga and neighborhood. The school has made rapid progress within a short time.

The founder members were all from the teaching Community. Shri H.K.Achrya Nathubhai V.Desai. Chhaganbhai Thakkar. Were from house to house and thereby increased the strength of the institution.

Under the guidance of these able men and dedicated teacher the school conducted various curricular extra curricular activities like Cricket, Annul Sports, Scout, Guiding Camp, Social Gathering, Badminton and such other activities.
