While ideators all over the world like Larry Page and Mark Zuckerberg are creating multi-billion dollar companies, a dearth of experienced professionals nurturing entrepreneurs in India inspired Amol Manjrekar and Rohit Bhagwat to start Activitas Management Advisors.

Amol Manjrekar - MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad. Amol has 16 years of work experience in financial markets, working with firms like JPMorgan and PricewaterhouseCoopers in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He has been an active institutional investor in public and private markets. Amol is also a Chartered Accountant, CPA from the state of NJ, USA and CFA charter holder.

Rohit Bhagwat - Rohit is a Company Secretary and an MBA in Finance. He has 12 years of work experience in organizations like Warburg Pincus (as CFO India), General Atlantic (as CFO India), and Deloitte Consulting with expertise in financial analysis, international reporting and compliance procedures. He has deep domain knowledge in setting up and winding up of special corporate structures.

Founded in 2011, Activitas is a team of accomplished professionals, with a combined work experience of over 55 years in Private Equity, Strategy Consulting, Financial & Tax Advisory Services, Assurance Services and Forensics & Dispute Consulting.

Since inception, we have connected with a significant number of passionate entrepreneurs, bred by India’s huge consumer market, fast growing middle class and well educated youth. Similarly, we are also focusing on the myriad family-run businesses in India who need to remodel themselves through better ownership structures, professional management and by assessing new avenues for business. Educational institutions in India are also keen to foster the sprit of entrepreneurship by setting up incubators; Activitas works with these incubators in identifying and nurturing the best ideas on campus e.g. Activitas is empanelled with IIT-Bombay’s incubator - SINE (Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship) as a finance and strategy consultant for their incubatee companies.
