Pioneering has been a way of life at AREA (Association of Real Estate Agents).

In 1997, when developer-realtor meets were unheard of in India, AREA started the trend of pre-launch previews of projects, especially for realtors. Since then, AREA has grown from an association of 35 like-minded members to an influential community of over 280 Realtors from the western suburbs of Mumbai.

Apart from serving as an effective platform for interactions between realtors and developers, AREA has been playing a pivotal role in networking, advocacy and awareness-building within the real estate industry. It has been instrumental in facilitating better project launches for developers and in protecting the industry from increase in property tax and stamp duty. The primary objectives of the association include improving fellowship among members, enhancing the image of realtors, educating members on latest trends and linking realtors with developers and customers. The association is also an active member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR-India).

AREA is continuously seeking opportunities to empower realtors, enlighten them, further their cause and enable them to meet global standards
