About Silver Beach Cafe in Gandhi gram Road, near ISKCON, Juhu, Mumbai

Getting the right location in the city is extremely difficult, ask a restaurateur and he will echo the same. Our search for a cute café cum bistro ended when we walked through the banyan trees on either side of this Gandhi Gram Street. We saw sun light filtering through the leaves which is so rare in Bombay now-a-days, not sunrays but trees. It was like walking through a post card. Only to realize that the city¹s A listers live on this street including the legendary real estate czar.
While we waited on the street, swanky vehicles passed by informing us that this place is not a quaint street in Juhu, but reminiscences of lanes of Capri flashed by. Silver Beach café is here. We though of a million names but nothing seem to fit to this local neighborhood place like a local name.

Its beautiful its pristine and its cute.What food does one serve to people who have arrived; they know their difference between a béchamel and white sauce, a concassé to red sauce, a chardonnay to sauvignon blanc, an estoufade to a brown sauce, do let us know what you feel about our food, accolades and brickbats, both are welcome. A cute little bistro must have a simple logo. A sketchy logo looked just right with the Eiffel tower to cheese to pizza to coffee beans to fill the contents of the cup. It is straightforward and elegant.

Décor: We wanted huge French windows for the sunlight to come in like a solarium, instead we went for complete glass façade and glad we did. We all love and the yellow lamp post outside is a Parisiene symbol, and not to forget the Moet. The booth seating is dedicated to the Godfather, if you have seen the movie you will know what we mean, including the hanging table light. And it was quiet a task to install the 15 feet long glass wine rack. The suspended log you see outside is an inspiration from Switzerland. In all we have tried to build a restaurant for the locals, foodies and gourmands.
