About AweTism Run in , Mumbai

The first edition of Awetism Run happened on an instinct in 2014 with a handful of runners close to 120, and were given handmade medals made by my son who has autism. Another friend sponsored breakfast and I spoke briefly about what autism is and generally how raising my boy feels like. My partner, Gaurav Choudhari organized hydration on the bike and clicked pictures. The run was an instant hit and I decided to announce the the second edition in 2015. Sanjay Bhor, my third partner joined us this year and slogged when he volunteered to join in, all of these without personal interests. Gaurav has been the star photographer of this race ever since.
AweTism Run, is a completely non profit making venture managed with personal funds and sponsorship from fellow runners and passionate friends. Hence, the run is restricted to 450-500 every year. It is purely a run organized to raise autism awareness and advocate the rights and capabilities of individuals with autism.
Every year we have managed to put up a good show with my close runner buddies and others supporting to the fullest.
