KNOW YOUR LIBRARY
The Vidyalaya Library was started along with the Vidyalaya in 1988 to provide support to the teaching programmes of the Vidyalaya. It shifted to the new building on 13th April 2001.
Your visit to the library will be more meaningful and useful, if you acquaints with the facilities and services that are made available. We also require your cooperation in maintaining the library to serve you better. We request you to use the books in such a way that they live well and long and thereby serve long.
Holdings
The Library has a variety of documents like Books, Periodicals, and Textbooks etc.
1. Books – we have a good collection of books on different subjects in English, Hindi and Malayalam. For Details Please see the chart.
2. Reference Books – there is a separate collection of reference books such as Dictionaries, Yearbooks, General Encyclopaedia works, NVS, CBSE and NCERT publications.etc.
3. Periodicals- Our periodical section is comparatively strong with 40 current magazines and 2 newspapers. For Details
4. Textbooks – There is a textbook section containing books prescribed for the various classes.
Working Hours
The Library is open throughout the year except on vacation, national holidays and Sundays
All the working days -7.15 am to 1.30 pm and 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm.
Membership
All the students, teachers and non-teaching staff of the Vidyalaya are members.
