ILM College of Arts and Science, Methala, Perumbavoor, is a minority higher educational, self-financing institution, affiliated to M. G. University Kottayam, approved by the Govt.of Kerala, owned and managed by ILM Trust Methala, Perumbavoor. The Trust is a body of a number of outstanding academicians, educationalists and philanthropists, who strive for the educational advancement of the economically and socially backward sections of the society. As part of the social commitments of the ILM Trust, we offer financial help for deserving students by way of scholarships and fee concessions. The Islamic Learning Mission Trust is registered, under the’ Indian Trust’s Act’, formed for promoting good quality education to all the sections of the society, enriching personality development ,character formation and communal harmony. The various institutions founded by the Trust are the results of selfless and sincere hard work of our ‘Visionaries’ of the Trust.

ILM College of Arts and Science and our sister institution, ILM College of Engineering and Technology are the two Educational Institutions run under the strict guidance and control of the ILM Trust, Methala, both the institutions are situated in “Techno Village”, Methala, under Rayamangalam Grama Panchayath, on a hill top, in a beautiful panorama of nature, six kilometres away from the home town Perumbavoor. The unique and ideal atmosphere prevailing in the campus is created upon the strong blend of the dedicated Management, Faculty and Supporting Staff. The Trust lays on the imparting of educational excellence, upon a strong moral base, with the objectives that the students after completing their educational programmes may develop a strong sense of duty and service consciousness in the society.

We prepare the students for equipping themselves to face all sorts of challenges in the modern economy and to learn self- reliance in their lives. The programmes we offer are Job oriented programmes, after successful completion, the student may not be find it difficult to get a good job in any of the fields of Management, Commerce or Industry.

The college was established on 01-08-2012, with its first Under Graduate Programme, B.com. Computer Applications. At present we offer five U.G. Programmes. We are planning to start two branches of M.Com. Programme and one more U.G. Programme, during the next Academic Year(2016-2017) The college aims at imparting socially relevant and holistic education, without discriminating anyone on the ground of caste, creed, religion or gender. Along with discharging of curriculum, we are also giving due considerations for developing the co- curricular and extra-curricular talents of the students. A number of clubs, cells and committees are also functioning in this institution, for the active involvements of the students, under the strict guidance of the competitive faculty members.

We have secured hundred percent result in the first U.G program(B.Com Computer Application) M.G University Examinations March 2015(Batch 2012-15).

We enjoy spacious playground, volley ball court, badminton court, canteen, separate hostels for Girls and Boys, Wi-Fi internet facility, library and reading room, pure drinking water facility, college bus facility, bituminous roads and all other students’ amenities. The idyllic surroundings, away from the hum and bustle of the city, provide right ambience to students for better learning. We enjoy beautiful physical infrastructure and excellent faculty members.
