Amatya IAS/PCS, center was set up on September 16, 2002 in the fulfillment of the Amatya Educational Society’s development vision that aimed at bridging the rural and urban disparities in the availability of facilities of facilities for quality coaching in premier administrative services like the IAS and the PCS. From the very outset, the founding directors Sri Rajesh Bharti and Smt. Ritu Bharti took particular care to scout and invite some outstanding persons of learning and profound scholars in their respective subjects teach at the centre. Initially, facilities and resources base was create for coaching in the subjects : History, Geography, Anthropology, Sociology, Public Administration, Law , Political Science , Psychology and General Studies. The teaching pattern at the center went beyond the class-room framework as extra attention has been showered on the gifted and vulnerable students. The library of the Branch is very rich and well equipped and all the leading competitive magazines and journals are subscribe and other educational aides are duly arrange. The faculty and management of the center strives their best to the needs of the competitive examinations. Occasionally, outstanding personalities from the diverse range of professional domains, like media, bureaucracy, social services, judiciary and academics are being invited to address and interact with the Amatya trainees, The Amatya efforts bear fruits and its trainees prove their worth in UPSC and State Public Service Commission examination, as a result Their number ran into scores and increasing leaps and bounds every year. Amatya trainees even scored success in RBI, and UGC examinations. Amatya trainees are being groomed in a holistic manner and made well verse in the fine competitor nuances of the competitive examination format. Through an internal mechanism to make trainees competitive in every respect, class-room tests are conducted, after a close scrutiny of their performance, suggestions for refinement and improvement are offered. It is a measure of success of the pioneering effort of the Amatya IAS/PCS in Meerut that aspirants from far away places and neighbouring states like Uttrakhand and Haryana and Punjab come all the way to Meerut for coaching. Amatya’s mission that begins in 2002 is set to traverse long way ahead.
