Mr. K. C. Naik, the founder, started the operations of the group in 1961 with a pioneering entry into the transport business. The years ahead saw the company venture into the challenging area of real estate with the launch of Mahabaleshwara Builders and Promoters, now regarded as the Group's flagship company. Complementing Mahabaleshwara's construction and transportation operations are other ventures like Sarosh Technical Services which is a company involved in the manufacturing of precured tread rubber and the Group's two successful retail stores - Kaycien Sales and Classique Supermarkets.

Sanjith Naik, Executive Director, son of prominent real-estate developer Mr. K.C.Naik is the executive director of Mahabaleshwara Promoters & Builders. A qualified architect and MBA from Texas State University, USA. Sanjith is all set to take the firm into new heights of professionalism.

Sanjith has a strong vision for the company in the years to come. He says, "my goal is and has always been to understand the needs of the people and blend them with the latest concepts and trends to provide a total package at a reasonable price".
