About Sullamussalam Science College Areacode in Sullamussalam Science College Areacode,Ugrapuram P.O., Areacode, Malappuram

The College had a modest beginning in 1995 with 72 students in three courses - B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc. Mathematics and BA English literature. In 1999 the government sanctioned to the College B.Sc. Physics course. The College rose to new heights when it was sanctioned a post graduate course in Computer Science in 2000. In 2003, the College started the MA course in English, and in 2004 M.Sc. Physics and M.Sc. Mathematics, all in the unaided sector. By starting the B.Com. programme with Computer Application in 2006 in self-financing sector, a new branch was added besides Arts and Science. In 2012, the College started post graduate programme in Commerce and in 2013 BA Economics, both in aided sector.

In addition to this, in 2014, UGC has sanctioned two B.Voc degree programmes (B.Voc in Software Technology and Broadcasting & Journalism) to our college. This is the only college in Malappuram district selected by the UGC to start this programme
