Kottapuram central school is the one and only one New Generation CBSE School in Palakkad District of Kerala. The school is affiliated with the central board of secondary education (CBSE), New Delhi. And Approved by Ministry of Human Resource Development as the part of NATIONAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS FRAME WORK (NVEQF). As per this program, the school conducts skill development programs, such as productivity tools like Adobe Photoshop, Macro media Dream viewer, Tally, HTML as the part of their curriculum. The school is nestled in among the lush green hills of Kottapuram in a quiet and serene atmosphere in line with the philosophy “living in harmony with the nature”. It is an ideal institution striving to attain perfect learning- The school is well equipped with all facilities and a highly qualified, experienced and dedicated band of staff.Kottapuram Central School was established in the year 1992 by Kuttanassery Education Society. The School obtained affiliation up to secondary level –X th std. in 2008-09. We present our first batch students for the class examinations, conducted by the CBSE, in 2010-11.The school has well built and maintained class rooms of its own. It has a computer lab with sufficient computers with internet and e-mail facilities to keep pace with the modern trends in education. Computer science is a compulsory subject from KG class room on-wards. The computer lab is well equipped with Smart class rooms, so that the edge in technology can see every day, the classes are conducting through this service too. So that students can listen, see and feel the contents in the subjects. The school library is well stocked with a good collection of reference and other books
