About Unnoonny Motors in MADANADA,, Kollam (Quilon)

This business group has a momentum of early start at Kollam as the fourth generation has now joined in the management. Nearly 70 years ago, an entrepreneur, named Mr.UNNOONNY started his business in Quilon(now Kollam) as a dealer in bicycles. Even in the early 1940s,he ventured to import bicycles from England to satisfy the demands of his customers spread across the southern Kerala. His son Mr. Baby took over and expanded the business by opening a new branch at Kayamkulam Viz. M/s. G. Unnoonny & Sons to commemorate his late father Mr. Unnoonny. He also started manufacturing Cycle Gear Cases in 1965, the only factory now available in South India which supplies to all major cycles factories like T.I Cyles of India ( BSA & Hercules ), Hero Cycles, Atlas and Avon. The business is presently managed by Mr. G.Vargheese Baby(Lalu), for the past 25 years who has expanded & diversified business interests to many areas with showrooms for Health & Fitness equipments in Kollam, Kayamkulam,Alappuzha and Kottarakara, villa projects in Kollam known as Sun Beam Homes, and most recently state of art showroom for Royal Enfield at Kollam.
