Welcome to the world of “Shah Rukh Khan Fans Club – Kolkata” (SRKFC). Our world of SRKFC – the brainchild of Arnab Roy – a person who is the pioneer of this fans club from the very inception since October 31st, 1997.
16 long years with SRK & through appliction of mind & implementation of strength SRKFC is a confluence of HERO WORSHIP.
SRKFC also prides itself in efectively delivering regular SRK brand promotion activities with regards to the films of the star.
With an aim to reach the pinnacle of high pwered entertainment of SRK’s world we have the world’s first ARCHIVE named under a cine star Mr.Shah Rukh Khan. The archive witnesses a life size statue of SRK, dresses & props used by the star in films like “Main Hoon Na”, “Paheli”, “Om Shanti Om”, biographies “The King of Boolywood” & “Still Reading Khan”.
SRKFC proudly claims itself as the official fans club in India as it received the declaration & approval from SRK in 2002 when the legend came for a charitable show organized by SRKFC ay Netaji Indoor Stadium. The charitable proceeds was donated to The Thallaseamia Society of India.
Also there has been tremendous media coverage with the fan club throughout this 16 long years, be it KKR temple at the archive (2010) or a KKR mata ki Jagran Utsav (2011). Very recently the fans club has aimed to fly the flag of KKR & SRK’s photo at the peak of Mt.Kanchanjunga to tribute the victory of KKR in IPL 2012. SRKFC has launched THE KINGS CLUB (TKC) in 2012 – an organization which operates via social media only in facebook. The association prides itself with the tagline “THE KINGS CLUB – SPREAD SHAHRUKHISM”. The motto is to spread the brand SRK by organizing quize contest, seminars through social media.
From the very inception of our club since 1997 it runs on the memberships fees, private donations that we generate from our club members & without asking any financial help from Mr.Shah Rukh Khan. It’s a myth that we believe in that “AFTER GOD, the only icon we believe in is SRK” .
