Designed to provide solid front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings and tapered steerer tube provide optimal steering stiffness, improved steering precision, better stiffness-to-weight ratios and more precise handling.

The benefits of the “big” wheels are available through our Full Alloy Mountain models, specialized 29ers deliver the stability and control riders demand. 29ers are not just for tall people. Our dialled geometry allows riders of all sizes to experience the benefits of 29-inch wheels. Our 29ers are nimble and fun with our latest geometry.

With the new 27.5 size, there is a new dimension emerging. We are confident that the 27.5 addition to the existing wheel size geometry standards will make its way into the mountain biker’s vision. The long established 29” and the younger 27.5” geometries are well positioned in the MTB market. While 29ers are best for fast rides, keeping momentum and rollover, 27.5” wheels are well known for their nimble, agile handling top acceleration. These plus sizes offers an entirely new riding experience and will extend the scope of traction and control to the new height that mountain bikes of standard 26 sizes never achieve.
