About Adamant eve re-imagined in Moore Avenue, Kolkata

Welcome to Adamant Eve, re-imagined (AeRi), the monthly, pop-up, intersectiona- feminist cafe in Kolkata. Re-imagined because we want to acknowledge and be critical of both self and others, yet still be rooted deep in feminist values. Acknowledge that we will imagine and re-imagine and still make mistakes because of the systems installed deep within us. Let our learning from those mistakes become our strength to unlearn, to give up power and space without expecting some other sort of power, to be willing to change and to have the imagination to move forward. When we hold each other accountable, are critical, and dismantle the system, within and outside, let us not use the patriarchal vengeance as our driving force but feminist rage mixed with immense love, kindness, and forgiveness. Let us not mistake forgiveness for lack of criticality or inability to have self-doubt. Let us doubt everything and everyone as we all are products of this mess we call society, not with a hierarchy of knowledge, but with feminist sisterhood.
