About Entally Shri Gandhi Education and Welfare Society in Shri Gandhi Vidyalaya, 17 Dehi Entally Road, Kolkata

ESGEWS is a young and for the society organization. It has been working as a Non-Profit organization from the early 80’s by a group of the then young people under the leadership of Dr. Ramashary Singh for eradicating illiteracy and making the areas of Dhapa, Tangra and Vaishali disease free as well. ESGWS was registered in the Paschin Bang Society Registration Act-1961. Our prime focuses parallel to the core in the locality remains on the youngster because they are the future. We volunteer them and train them to act socially. ESGWS is attempting to bring a transition by improving the quality of life style in all ages groups that of disadvantaged or the vulnerable groups or individual through providing or supporting them with life skills, teaching , treatment and behavioral change (attitude, practice and knowledge).
