About Balaka in 189/D Santoshpur Avenue, Kolkata
Our organization is a social organization of Kolkata has been created by some teachers of Jadavpur. We,the members of BALAKA, hold their hands who live in the world of darkness. We try to enable us to come close to five hundred slum children,providing them with education,health,protection,love,affection and support,releasing them from the various cycle of poverty,restoring their childhood and building up their future. We try to prove how education can be attractive and easy among the first generation learners. We also provide avenues for participation in sports and cultural events so as to develop team spirit and harmony among them.
