About Al-Ameen Mission Alumni Association in 53B, Elliot Road, Kolkata

A journey started 27 years ago with a dream for resurrection of a downtrodden society, a dream for the banishment of the darkness through spreading the light of education, a dream for wellness, a dream for harmony, and a dream to enable future generations to dream bigger, for thousands of members of our community who have chosen the path of education and enlightenment for individual and collective elevation. The amphitheatre of this dream was our Al Ameen Mission, the success of its vision, and last but not the least, the success of ourselves.The very vision that runs through the veins of every alumnus, got imbibed right from the day we dragged our tin lockers from our homes to under our dorm beds, put on the sky blue uniforms, collectively prayed at the 'prayer hall' and lined up outside the dining with our friends for the wholesome morsels and singing the anthem that ran through our minds.

Today, we have diverged into different areas of work, into numerous countries and far-flung areas, meeting different people, imbibing different cultures, doing all kinds of amazing things that were once a distinct dream. And we have done well (but not done yet )... So much so that a phrase called 'Al Ameen product' is now catching on in the fields that have been influenced by us and in through us, the culture and teachings of our Mission. Through us spreads the influence of our Mission, the seeds of hope that were sowed blossom into collective upliftment of our community, and expands the vision that was a mere dream.

Thus, after all these years here we are, a testimony of the dream that was dreamt, the toil that was put in, & the hopes that were ignited. And the best part is, it keeps getting bigger & better.
