Minco recently acquired 40% stake in Polish Ropes SA – a leading Europe.an manufacturer of ropes and hoisting. The company was created back in 1881 as Deichsel S.A., which makes it one of the oldest rope manufacturers in the world. Through the years, despite three wars and two revolutions, company was able to maintain the continuity of existence.

Further development of the company into manufacturing of mining equipment is initiates by this acquisition since ropes are one of most vital parts in the underground mining.
