The Crescent School was founded by Mr. Shaikh Shamsher Alam, in the year 2002 to impart quality education in a disciplined and healthy environment. Subsequently, the overall control of the school was handed to The Crescent Charitable Trust, a non-profit, non-propriety organization working for educational excellence. The school is declared as a Minority Educational Institution by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institution, Government of India and is recognized by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The school is contributing significantly to inclusive national progress by providing high quality education to socially and economically deprived strata of the society.
