About JKS Shotokan-Ryu Karatedo Association India in Kaikhali, Ichapur, various, Kolkata

We are a SHOTOKAN Karatedo Association of India headed by our chief instructor Sensei Koushik Bose (5th DAN Black Belt). The head quarter is localted at Kolakata, the city of joy. We are proudly affiliated to the Japan Karate Shoto Federation (JKS), Japan.

He started his karate career in 1984 under the great masters of JKA India. Since from the early beginning he had a dream of having his own organization.

In 2010 he sucessfully managed to establish his own registered group in India with just a few handful members and just 4 instructors under him.

Within a few months of the establishment of the association, it increased in its member number to nearly 16,000 with 4 states affiliated to the newly formed association. Sensei Bose was always renound for his performance and training ability and this again proved his fame.

Any person willing to join a SHOTOKAN association is welcome. Any person from any place in India and a Shotokan background is most welcome for a single, group or state affiliation. Although we have a open heart for any and every style.
