At Lexplosion, we believe in simplifying complex legal issues and making them understandable and accessible to businesses – which, inevitably, have limited time and a lot on their plate. Our motto is to assist India Inc. be more compliant by making law more accessible and affordable. We do this using cutting-edge proprietory technology and with the support of our in-house team of brilliant legal; compliance and technology professionals. Our initial focus was almost entirely on large enterprises and since our inception in 2007, we have worked with many of the large business houses operating in India. Realising that small and medium enterprises also need our support to be compliant and more competitive in the marketplace, we have now come up with a unique solution tailormade for SMEs.

In 2011, Lexplosion launched Komrisk, the first-of- its kind cloud-based compliance management solution in India. At the core of Komrisk is the incredibly rich compliance data created by Lexplosion’s lawyers by researching and analysing every aspect of Indian law that a business needs to consider – be in tax; corporate compliances; labour and employment; environment, health and safety; or business-specific compliances. Lexplosion’s database has over 20,000 compliances covering central; state and local body legislations. The data is wrapped around in the Komrisk software and provides clients with a real-time experience of their entire compliance universe – with updates; reports; calendars and alerts. From manufacturing to technology services; FMCG; telecom; healthcare; and pharmaceuticals – there’s hardly any industry where Lexplosion’s products and services are not used by the leaders.

In keeping with our goal of making law accessible to all businesses – including the ones who need it the most and can afford it the least, in 2016, we have introduced Komplify – a compliance solution for SMEs. With Komplify, we have come up with an algorithm to predict what laws and compliances will apply to a SME with just basic details about it. So what would earlier have taken hundreds of hours and required SMEs to pay exorbitant sums to lawyers and chartered accounts will now be
available for a small fee in just fifteen to twenty minutes.
