Kolkata Christmas Festival has become an annual attraction in the city’s calendar.

This year, it is being held from December 18 to January 2. It will be inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Ms. Mamata Banerjee at Allen Park on Park Street (Mother Teresa Sarani) in the presence of Archbishop Thomas D’Souza, Bishop Ashok Biswas and representatives from all Christian denominations and members of all communities.

The two-week Festival will see Park Street come alive with beautiful lighting, Christmas carols, special choir performances, food stalls and live music by the Kolkata Police and Army bands as well as popular city bands.

A Christmas parade will be held on Sunday, December 20 on Park Street from 10 am to 12 pm by representatives from various schools.

This unique two-week celebration of the joy of Christmas is being organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of West Bengal, in association with members of the Christian community and the Apeejay Surrendra Group.
