This institution is incorporated in India and registered and licensed by Govt. of India under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956, as a public company on September 15, 1998. It has been licensed for promotion of education in different fields, for rendering Counselling services (psychological, educational, career, medical etc.) and research work on socio-agro-economic, cultural and educational aspects. Since its inception the institute has been carrying on its activities in the fields of education, counselling and others, as licensed by the Government, and achieved remarkable success. A good number of the students and the associates of the institute have been able to get scope in the higher studies in different courses and are presently well-established, completing their courses successfully. Institute of Social Welfare & Research has been recognized by the Fulbright Scholarship Foundation, USA for its excellent work in the field of education. The Institute is fully exempted by the Income Tax Authority and donation to this Institute is also exempted under section 80(G)
