About Vimukti Special School in Hidayath Nagar Road, Kochi

Vimukti Special School is about the Empowerment of special children in our society. We currently have 23 students in this academic year. and we already have many students that have graduated from school and some of them are working in many sectors too. we consider this opportunity as a great achievement. we also have a charitable society (Mar Gregorius Charitable society)

Laundry Unit :
provides laundry service to YMCA,Cochin Suburban club,Bharat Petroleum
oulets,

Packing Unit: We pack sugar for one of the leading supermarkets in the neighbourhood.
Every day 1000 one kilo packets of sugar is packed and crated.

News paper Carry bag unit:

supplies 1500 carrybags a month to one of the leading footwear companies.
Brown paper bags to travel agent.
Dustbin liners to Trident Hilton Hotel Spa.

Envelopes:

supplies envelopes to Rotary club ,Indian Aluminum company & individuals

Home Science Dept:

Cooks and serves lunch and tea to all the 54 students and staff.

All the meals are cooked on bio-gas generated from kitchen waste.

The Vocationaly trained senior students are given a stipend and they all have post office accounts.
