About Sunil's Celebrity Wax Museum in , Kochi

Celebrity Wax International Museum is a wax museum in India with branches in Mumbai (Lonavala) and Kochi (Kerala). This is the first and the only wax museum to come up in India and is considered a perfect one-day outing for every merry seeker who spent on wishing sometime with the legends and the known of the past and the present. Noted wax sculptor and artist Sunil Kandalloor found celebrity Wax Museum in the year 2001. Though the artist initially gained inspiration to sculpt in wax after seeing the Madam Tussauds in London decades ago, but it is the persistent effort of this young artist in experimenting on the medium have paved the way for him to excel in wax. The first branch of the Celebrity Wax Museum was established in the year 2---- in the picturesque, most fecund and bucolic landscape of Lonavala near Mumbai, the economic capital of India. The Museum has now grown to become a major tourist attraction in Mumbai and with the coming of the second branch in hustle and bustle of Cochin, the queen of Arabian Sea, in Kerala, has taken the venture to a new level of success. The Museum had over 100 wax statues that include historical and royal figures, film stars, politicians and sports state in its museums. The Lonavala branch alone has more than 50 Wax statues and the Kochi branch owns around 40 wax statues.
