About Kudos in Deshabhimani Road, Kochi

Karukapalli 17 years ago… At the height of cricket fanatism which was sweeping across the country and some time in that year a group of boys from Karukapalli had an idea. Coming together as a group sharing the same spirit and goals they decided to form a group, one among them named it Kudos which went on to become a part of history of the present day Karukapalli. Kudos is a Greek word meaning glory and literally it became a crowning jewel of Karukapalli.

Kudos which started off in a small way, now has grown to such an extend that, we the kudos owns a building of our own. Many among them who were instrumental in establishing Kudos as an strong social, cultural institution have now gone on to attain important place in the social and cultural fabric of the state. Kudos even though started as an institution of like minded people to play cricket, football and other sports, as time went by has grown to huge institution, it was impossible to restrict our self as sporting club, we were fast becoming an important social and cultural institution of developing Krukapalli. It was imperative, that Kudos went out interacted and engaged itself with the people of Karukapalli realizing our role in the society, Kudos also started helping the needy, also providing educational helps to needy youngsters of the locality.

Kudos also realized the importance of creating health awareness and started extending help to people who could not meet their medical expenses. Thus Kudos in itself became a role model for every youngster to imbibe discipline, love, and respect for the fellow beings of the society. Kudos now has grown into being an important institution having its own office and to share the glorious and momentous occasion we the Kudos have organized a month long event to commemorate this occasion.

Now kudos have more than 150 active members. Most of our members are now residing in different parts of India some of them are even working outside India still they are actively involved in different activities of the club. Lately our club also have started concentrating our working in the social welfare of our surrounding. We are also involved in different social activity which aids in the development of society.
